Household Capital is headquartered in Melbourne and is building out an innovative business assisting seniors to access credit to supplement their funding in retirement.
About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Credit Analyst to join our Melbourne-based credit team.
In this role, you will work closely with a range of stakeholders.
As a Junior Credit Analyst, you will have the opportunity to grow and support the business via end-to-end credit assessments on mortgage applications.
Key Responsibilities include: Data generation and input and/or checking of data input of other teams.Analysis of individual client loan applications and accompanying data.Participation in the undertaking of credit assessments, including responsible lending analysis, property security analysis, undertake credit checks, and complete related analytical review.Interaction with staff in related areas to support business objectives, including strong credit outcomes in support of the business's growth objectives.Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.Strong analytical skills.Knowledge of credit risk.Knowledge of legal, market, and compliance risk issues.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong work ethic.Great time management.Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.Role would suit a recent graduate or current student studying part-time/after hours (this is a full-time permanent role), as well as applicants with experience within a retail mortgage/personal lending environment.
