About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a commodity strategy for indirect material commodities, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategic objectives.
The position involves monitoring and analyzing market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process improvements. Key responsibilities include preparing request documents and associated bids, evaluating offers and negotiating contracts, and presenting results to the sourcing board and management.
In addition, the Procurement Manager will lead negotiation and contracting processes, develop and negotiate individual and framework agreements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate commodity synergies.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of several years in procurement and sourcing within the automotive industry, with specific experience in indirect material commodities. A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is required.
