About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Researcher to join our team at Dynatrace Austria GmbH. As a Senior Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting independent research in the field of Cloud Native Security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new research topics and develop prototypes in one or more fields related to Cloud Native Security
  • Define use cases and demos to connect novel research ideas with product components
  • Bridge academic research and commercial technology development by collaborating with our application security team and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the global research community by publishing and disseminating research findings in journals, speaking and presenting at conferences, and actively participating in scientific and industrial cooperation projects
  • Guide PhD and master students in their career path and assist the lead researcher in defining and prioritizing the research roadmap

Requirements

  • PhD in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience and/or expertise in at least one of the relevant research topics related to Cloud Native Security
  • Good understanding of cyber and cloud security topics and their impacts on products and customer experience
  • Strong publication record
  • Great communication skills when it comes to presenting and discussing research results with stakeholders
  • Excellent English skills (oral and written)
