Controller of Financial Operations

Responsibilities
  • Consolidate and review monthly financial figures between different reporting systems (2 SAP systems, ESPRIT, Hyperion Planning etc) as well as analyze monthly results
  • Support monthly creation and update of management reporting package for legal entities incl. commentaries
  • Coordinate and consolidate Forecast and Budgeting process incl. cash and balance sheet planning
  • Support monthly closing coordination for all entities within Switzerland and Austria and ensure correctness and completeness of provisions and accruals in results, coordinate balance sheet reconciliations with the team and Hub Accounting team
  • Support year end closing process as well as statutory audits
  • Responsible for transfer pricing related documentation and implementation of relevant guidelines as well as transfer pricing documentation for audits for all DISW legal entities in Austria and Switzerland
  • Ensure alignment of all financial activities with the internal control system, contact for internal and external audits
  • Drive new initiatives such as reporting automation, digitalisation and constant change within the Legal Entity Operations team and beyond
Requirements
  • 5 years professional experience in Accounting/Controlling
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • High affinity to work with tools and applications (SAP, Tableau, PowerBI, Hyperion Planning, Excel, ppt) and continuous process improvements
  • Critical thinker with analytical skills and excellent attention to quality and detail
  • Open minded teammate acting as role model
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
  • Proven background in controlling, reporting and planning
  • Excellent communicational and interpersonal skills, ability to get along with various organizational levels and drive new initiatives
  • Fluency in English and German language

For legal reasons, we would like to point out that the salary for this position is EUR 3,828 gross/month with appropriate qualifications. Willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications is given
