Financial Controller for Legal Entities

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our Legal Entity Finance team at Siemens AG Österreich. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial governance and control of our legal entities in Austria and Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consolidate and review monthly financial figures across different reporting systems, including SAP, ESPRIT, and Hyperion Planning.
  • Support the creation and update of management reporting packages for legal entities, including commentaries.
  • Coordinate and consolidate the Forecast and Budgeting process, including cash and balance sheet planning.
  • Ensure the correctness and completeness of provisions and accruals in results, and coordinate balance sheet reconciliations with the team and Hub Accounting team.
  • Support the year-end closing process and statutory audits.
  • Be responsible for transfer pricing-related documentation and implementation of relevant guidelines, as well as transfer pricing documentation for audits for all SISW legal entities in Austria and Switzerland.
  • Ensure the alignment of all financial activities with the internal control system, and serve as a contact for internal and external audits.
  • Drive new initiatives such as reporting automation, digitalization, and constant change within the Legal Entity Operations team and beyond.
Requirements
  • 5 years of professional experience in Accounting/Controlling.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • High affinity to work with tools and applications (SAP, Tableau, PowerBI, Hyperion Planning, Excel, ppt) and continuous process improvements.
  • Critical thinker with analytical skills and excellent attention to quality and detail.
  • Open-minded teammate acting as a role model.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Proven background in controlling, reporting, and planning.
  • Excellent communicational and interpersonal skills, ability to get along with various organizational levels and drive new initiatives.
  • Fluency in English and German language.
