**Position: AI Legal Researcher**

As an AI Legal Researcher within the group of Deep Learning and Certification, headed by DI Dr. Bernhard Nessler, at SCCH, you will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects that shape the legal framework for artificial intelligence. You will work alongside a dynamic team of experts, collaborating with the JKU LIT Law Lab, Austrian Standards, TÜV AUSTRIA and other renowned organizations and researchers in the field. You will have the chance to contribute to both fundamental research in AI-regulation and all fields of law surrounding AI and the development of practical solutions for the certification of AI.

**You will**
- develop legal standards and guidelines for the use and deployment of AI systems, with a focus on large language models and other advanced AI technologies.
- analyze the legal implications and ethical considerations related to AI, including privacy, bias, transparency, and accountability.
- collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of researchers, engineers, and policy experts to ensure legal compliance and ethical practices in AI development and deployment.
- conduct research on emerging legal issues and provide recommendations on adapting legal frameworks to keep pace with technological advancements.
- publish research findings in legal journals and present at conferences to contribute to the legal and AI communities.

**You are**
- well-educated with a Master's degree in Jurisprudence (Mag.iur.) or equivalent degree in law with a specialization in technology ethics, technology law, intellectual property, or related fields.
- strongly interested in AI technology, including large language models, machine learning, and deep learning concepts.
- familiar with legal frameworks and regulations related to AI, data protection, intellectual property, and technology ethics.
- an excellent analyst with research-skills and with the ability to understand complex legal and technical concepts.
- a strong communicator (verbal and written), with the ability to present legal research findings to diverse audiences.
- able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment and contribute to cross-functional teams.

**Salary**

The minimum gross salary is € 3,490.85 per month (14 times per year) for full employment. The actual salary depends on the qualifications of the applicant.
