Sustainability & ESG Development Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sustainability & ESG Coordinator to join our team at BWT. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our company's sustainability strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives to reduce our environmental impact and improve our social responsibility.
- Lead and coordinate the development of our sustainability reports and ensure compliance with relevant reporting standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize sustainability opportunities and develop action plans to address them.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory developments related to ESG and provide recommendations to management.
- Support the implementation of CSRD and GRI standards and develop group-wide ESG reporting.
Requirements
- Completed education in sustainability or environmental management or relevant experience in sustainability.
- Comprehensive knowledge of non-financial reporting requirements and standards (e.g. GRI, CSRD).
- Precise, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Teamwork approach, strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English, other foreign languages an advantage.
- Confident handling of MS Office applications.
- Experience with software solutions for sustainability reporting an advantage.
