Job Overview

Dynatrace is seeking an experienced Cloud Observability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud observability area, you will design and implement solutions that enable our customers to navigate and make sense of their cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud observability solutions that deliver answers, not just raw data, to our customers.
  • Collaborate with our international team to integrate our product with cloud technologies, ensuring scalability, security, and cost optimization.
  • Cooperate with our cloud engineering team to ensure seamless integration and high-quality products.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a software product company.
  • Excellent knowledge and broad experience with at least one cloud provider.
  • Certification as AWS Solution Architect Associate & Professional or equivalent in other clouds.
  • Very good mentoring and technical leadership skills.
  • Good English skills.
  • Understanding of DevOps and SRE principles and challenges, experience in these areas is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with line-of-business application/system monitoring configuration using open-source monitoring solutions or commercial ones.
  • Passion for delivering cloud observability solutions.
  • Knowledge of Java, Python, and Bash sufficient to do code reviews and ensure cloud well-architected integration and compliance with coding best practices.
