Job Description

This Senior Quality Assurance Engineer position plays a key role in ensuring the seamless deployment of products. Responsibilities include:

  • Identification, creation, and tracking of bugs, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Developing comprehensive test plans and specifications based on requirements analyses and technical concepts.
  • Supporting acceptance tests and customer rollouts.
  • Executing various test methods, such as feature tests, integration, system, regression, performance, and load tests.
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting issues to verify their origin and directly testing APIs with the frontend.
  • Maintaining close cooperation and coordination with the development team for smooth collaboration.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in creating test plans, cases, and scripts.
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
  • Good spoken and written English skills, German is an advantage.

The minimum gross salary for this position is EUR 2,854 per month (full-time, 38.5 hours/week), aligned with the IT collective agreement. We also offer a higher salary based on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include:
