The Zumtobel Group, a leading international lighting solutions provider, seeks an experienced Global Customs Expert to lead its customs and export control operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with 5-7 years of experience in customs regulations and export control.


Job Description
  • This position involves providing strategic leadership and expertise to ensure compliance with customs regulations and tax laws on a national and international level. You will be responsible for managing the import-export operations, tariff classifications, and AEO certification, as well as implementing global customs procedures.
  • You will also serve as the main point of contact for external authorities, internal stakeholders, and customs experts within the company's plants and sales organizations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or higher education in a relevant field, such as customs law or international trade.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in customs regulations and export control.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate others.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Fluent in German and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different cultures.

Salary and Location

We offer a competitive salary based on professional qualifications and experience, with a minimum of €85,542.24 per year (for a 38.50-hour working week). The position is ideally located in Dornbirn, Austria.
