Your contributions at Dynatrace
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing solutions for performance and availability monitoring tailored for Ruby applications.
- Engaging primarily with Ruby and C++ (for native extensions).
- Analyzing and comprehending the intricate workings of popular Ruby gems.
- Exploring beyond standard frameworks and gems with an in-depth understanding of Ruby.
- Independently designing and implementing new features, taking ownership of these enhancements.
- Collaborating intensively with both local and international development teams.
Qualifications
What will contribute to your success
Technical Skills
- Several years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on Ruby (preferred) and C++.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry is advantageous.
- Understanding of various Ruby interpreters, including CRuby and JRuby, is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Ruby native extensions and FFI is a plus.
- Experience in publishing Ruby Gems is a plus.
- Ability to concentrate on details while maintaining a broad perspective of the ecosystem.
- A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn about innovative technologies.

Compensation and Rewards
- We offer competitive compensation packages and stock purchase options, along with numerous benefits.
- Due to legal obligations, we must disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is €56,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
