About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at REWE Group Österreich. As a key member of our Application Architecture quality assurance team, you will play a crucial role in defining and implementing quality assurance standards and validating their correct implementation by our product teams.

What You Will Do
  • Implement QA standards and guidelines to ensure high-quality products
  • Support product teams with QA, testing, and test automation
  • Evaluate new tools and methods to improve our processes
  • Participate in the QA community of practice to share knowledge and best practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completed technical education with a focus on IT (HTL, FH, TU) or comparable qualification
  • Great technical skills and knowledge of at least one common programming language (e.g., Java, TypeScript)
  • Experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Rest interfaces, Jasmine, SpringBoot testing, Pactflow, Postman, BrowserStack)
  • A good understanding of software development life cycles
  • Experience with agile development methods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
