As a Cyber Security Specialist at Infineon, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization's assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team in Klagenfurt.

About the Job

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, automation, and development, with experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and security evaluations, developing automation solutions for security processes, and supporting developers in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential security threats
  • Developing and implementing security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Collaborating with development teams to ensure that security considerations are integrated into the design and development of software systems
  • Providing training and awareness programs to employees on cybersecurity best practices
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies to ensure that our security posture remains strong
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A strong understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulations, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Preferred Skills

Having experience with cloud security platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure, and a certification in cybersecurity, such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP, would be advantageous.
