Finance Risk Management Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our team in managing credit risk concentrations towards counterparties and countries across Erste Group.
About the RoleThis internship offers an exciting opportunity to work with our experienced professionals in operatively managing and monitoring credit risk concentrations. You will be responsible for supporting daily operations, including data quality enhancement undertakings as well as project work related to the group-wide credit limit management system.

- Work with large datasets and databases
To succeed in this role, you should have ongoing studies at a University/University of Applied Sciences with a background in quantitative finance, physics, mathematics/statistics or a similar natural science/technical field. Additionally, you should have excellent command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with computer languages like C++, Java, VBA, Matlab, as well as basic skills in SQL-queries.
What We OfferIn return for your hard work, we offer an exciting and challenging part-time internship (19.25h/week) from January 2025 until December 2025. Our comprehensive package includes an internship allowance of approximately €34,600 gross per year (based on 20 hours/week), which translates to around €4,400 gross per month, benefits of Erste Group, and opportunities for professional and personal development in a dynamic environment.
