Job Title: Head of Quality
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Quality to join our team at Primetals Technologies. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our quality assurance and expediting functions, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of quality assurance and expediting professionals to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure effective quality control and assurance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate quality risks.
- Manage and coordinate quality-related activities, including audits, assessments, and supplier evaluations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure quality standards are met.
- Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and report on quality performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Technical education (HTL, FH, or technical university)
- Experience in welding engineering and mechanical processing
- Several years of working experience in plant building
- Experience in quality assurance of equipment of the steel industry
- Advanced IT skills (Word, Excel, Access)
- English C1
- Willingness to travel
