Senior Technical Project Manager for Direct Reduction and Agglomeration

As a Senior Technical Project Manager for Direct Reduction and Agglomeration, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our projects. Our client is a leading partner in the metal industry, providing comprehensive solutions for electronics, automation, and environmental technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the project manager in all technical matters throughout the project lifecycle
  • Elaborate and update project schedules, including progress reporting
  • Define work packages and distribute them to executing departments, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality management
  • Coordinate project interfaces with engineering departments and other involved parties, focusing on time schedule, adherence to deadlines, and technical completeness
  • Participate in engineering review and customer approval meetings, highlighting interfaces, installation, maintenance accessibility, media & electrical interfaces, technical completeness, and formal execution adherence
  • Organize and prepare submission of engineering results and project documentation to customers
  • Support equipment installation and commissioning tasks on site

You will ensure that all relevant information is filed during project closure and is available for future projects.

Requirements:
  • Secondary school with a technical or engineering focus
  • 3+ years of professional experience in technical functions (e.g., technology, engineering, installation)
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering and business unit-related technology to understand technical implications
  • Basic knowledge of project management methods and tools, contract law, and regulations for project business, as well as technical understanding of segment portfolio
  • Work experience in international teams
  • Willingness for international travels and site delegations
  • Advanced knowledge of English and German
Compensation and Benefits:
