Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist System Engineering to join our Factory Integration team at Infineon Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for optimizing and maintaining the performance and stability of our software applications, developing and implementing automation scripts, and driving the deployment of cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize and maintain the performance and stability of our software applications for wafer manufacturing, ensuring seamless operation and minimal downtime.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Perl.
  • Implement and maintain DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous monitoring.
  • Drive the deployment of cloud-based applications using OpenShift and Kubernetes, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage cloud-based environments to meet business requirements, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Provide second-level application support, resolving incidents and problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Participate in a rotating 24x7 on-call service, providing timely support and resolution to critical incidents and issues.
  • Work closely with global teams using Agile methodologies to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, and provide training and support as needed.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of work experience.
  • Solid experience with cloud technologies (OpenShift, Kubernetes).
  • Strong scripting language skills (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Perl).
  • Basic database knowledge (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL).
  • Knowledge of software development processes, source configuration management, and CI/CD management (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git).
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Linux Server.
  • Very good communication skills in German and English.
