Senior Specialist System Engineer

Infineon Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist System Engineering to join our Factory Integration team. As a key member of our globally operating team, you will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation and optimizing production efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Optimize and maintain the performance and stability of our software applications for wafer manufacturing, ensuring seamless operation and minimal downtime.
- Develop and implement automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Perl.
- Implement and maintain DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous monitoring.
- Drive the deployment of cloud-based applications using OpenShift and Kubernetes, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
- Configure and manage cloud-based environments to meet business requirements, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Provide second-level application support, resolving incidents and problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Participate in a rotating 24x7 on-call service, providing timely support and resolution to critical incidents and issues.
- Work closely with global teams using Agile methodologies to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, and provide training and support as needed.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar.
- At least 3 to 5 years of work experience.
- Solid experience with cloud technologies (OpenShift, Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting language skills (PowerShell, Bash, Perl).
- Basic database knowledge (Oracle, MS SQL).
- Knowledge of software development processes, source configuration management, and CI/CD management (Azure DevOps, Git).
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Linux Server.
- Very good communication skills in German and English.
