Magna, a leading mobility technology company, is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join its Corporate Procurement Europe team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the commodity strategy for Aluminium / Die Casting.

As a key member of the procurement team, you will monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process improvements. Your responsibilities will include preparing request documents, evaluating offers, negotiating contracts, and presenting results to the sourcing board and management.

You will lead the negotiation and contracting processes with suppliers, develop and negotiate individual and framework agreements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve synergies and generate commodity savings. Additionally, you will enhance existing templates and tools to effectively present projects and savings, and improve data quality in existing systems.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field, and several years of experience in procurement and sourcing within the automotive industry, specifically in Aluminium / Die Casting commodities. They will possess excellent negotiation and contract management skills, strong expertise in commodities strategy definition and implementation, and solid understanding of supply chain management principles.

This role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels. Fluency in both written and spoken German and English is required, with additional languages beneficial. Proficiency in MS Office and SAP is also necessary, as well as willingness to travel as required.
