As a Quality Assurance Engineer at MED-EL, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and dependability of our medical software solutions. Your contributions will be vital to the success of our software development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and guarantee the quality of our medical software applications, actively participating in the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to comprehend and evaluate software specifications, identify testing scenarios, and design as well as execute both manual and automated test cases that encompass various aspects of software functionality.
- Monitor and manage reported issues, documenting pertinent details, prioritizing concerns, and working alongside developers to ensure prompt resolutions.
- Conduct regular updates and maintenance on existing manual and automated test cases, testing environments, and testing tools to maintain their efficiency and relevance within an agile development framework.
- Utilize exploratory testing methodologies to proactively identify and address potential software defects.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline or equivalent technical training; ISTQB Certification is advantageous.
- Proficient in test case design techniques and experienced with test automation frameworks such as Appium; familiarity with database testing and web/mobile application security testing is a plus.
- Strong programming skills in an object-oriented high-level programming language.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal; proficiency in German is a bonus.

The annual gross salary starts from € 48,760.78, determined by professional qualifications and experience.
