About the Role

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to customers at their sites, ensuring the operational quality of system equipment, and coordinating actions with customers to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers at their sites, including updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex equipment.
  • Represent the company to the customer and assume accountability for customer satisfaction with service.
  • Assure the operational quality of system equipment and coordinate actions with customers to minimize downtime.
  • May provide assistance to Installation Engineers in resolving problems.
  • Domestic and international travel may be required.

Requirements

  • Certified engineer or degree from advanced technical school or work experience of ~3 years.
  • Ability to understand and solve problems in software, electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and/or electro-optical systems to address on-site customer problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Great customer relations and collaboration skills within a multi-cultural environment.
  • Fluent in English and German language is a must.
  • Full driver's license.
