We are AlphaTauri, a high-end fashion brand seeking an experienced Knitwear Designer to drive the product development of our knitwear collection forward.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of 3D knit, yarns, and knit techniques, as well as experience in creating bestseller shapes for menswear and womenswear.

Salary & Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is EUR 2.605 gross per month, however, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is significantly above the stated minimum salary.

Job Description

As a Knitwear Designer, you will be responsible for the development process of our knitwear fashion line, including accessories. This will involve working closely with our garment suppliers in Europe and Asia to ensure right time and right quantity of our trimmings supply.

You will also oversee the development of our quality processes, trend research, and innovation ideas, driving our cutting-edge 3D knit features.

In addition, you will lead fittings and collaborate with the Pattern and Technical Development team to improve operational processes and workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Extensive experience and technical knowledge of 3D knit, yarns, and knit techniques
  • Strong trend research and market research skills
  • Superior organizational skills, ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail and creativity
