ESG Specialist (f/m/x)
Location: Vienna
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the ESG initiatives, integrating sustainability into the corporate culture and promoting a sustainable mindset throughout the organization.
  • Prepare the sustainability report and assist in the establishment of ongoing ESG reporting frameworks.
  • Regularly refresh the existing double-materiality assessment and support the ESG Director during the external validation of the sustainability report.
  • Collaborate in identifying and evaluating ESG risks and opportunities, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate strong cross-departmental collaboration: Engage with key stakeholders across the organization to incorporate ESG considerations into all business areas.
  • Monitor and assess ESG-related programs and policies, driving continuous enhancement.
  • Stay informed on ESG trends and regulations, engaging with both internal and external partners to align with industry best practices.
  • Compile reports and presentations on ESG performance metrics.

Candidate Profile:
  • University degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with a focus on ESG (e.g., involvement in sustainability projects, roles in sustainability departments, or positions in sustainability consulting).
  • Comprehensive understanding of ESG frameworks, standards, and reporting methodologies, along with familiarity with sustainable investment principles and ESG rating agencies.
  • Strong project management capabilities, coupled with a strategic mindset and adaptability in addressing challenges and shifting priorities.
  • Independent, organized, and hands-on work style, complemented by excellent time management skills.
  • Preference for cross-functional (international) collaboration and robust networking abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, characterized by persuasiveness and a positive attitude.
  • Resilience in a dynamic work environment.
