Senior Cloud Architect

We are a dynamic and innovative company seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our cloud platform.
Key Responsibilities- Platform Engineering
- Design and implement innovative cloud solutions to enhance user experience and drive business growth.
- Develop and optimize cloud applications, integrating them with custom-designed patterns.
- Stay up-to-date with modern technologies and evaluate potential integrations to our Red Bull IT landscape.
- Data Engineering
- Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and solution architects to refine data requirements and translate them into ELT designs.
- Implement, test, and support cutting-edge data pipelines, utilizing modern tools and processes to optimize data quality.
- Pioneer effective techniques for data ingestion, preparation, integration, and operationalization, contributing to data compliance and governance efforts.
- Stakeholder Management
- Cultivate strong collaborations with IT data science, data lake house operations, and business units to establish and enhance governance and processes.
- Establish a seamless synergy with DevOps, MLOps, and BI Engineers to maximize data availability and accuracy.
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with:
- University degree in IT or business administration with a focus on computer science, data science, or data engineering.
- Very good English skills. German is beneficial.
- Experience of at least 3 years with analytics tools such as Azure Analytics Solutions, Alteryx/Trifacta, and our cloud data platform Snowflake.
- Product mindset, Governance capabilities.
- Experience with query languages such as SQL, and programming languages (R, Python, Scala).
- SAP knowledge (BW, HANA, SAC), and Analytics front-end tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is beneficial.
- Architectural understanding of databases and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Familiarity with data science and data lake platforms on modern hyperscalers like Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
