About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Observability Software Engineer to join our team at Dynatrace. As a key member of our cloud observability team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing solutions that enable our customers to navigate and make sense of their cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud observability solutions that deliver answers, not just raw data, to our customers.
  • Collaborate with our international team to integrate our product with cloud technologies, ensuring scalability, security, and cost optimization.
  • Work closely with our customers to understand their cloud metrics and logs needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to improve our product.
  • Contribute to the development of our cloud observability product, ensuring it meets the needs of our customers.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a software product company.
  • Excellent knowledge and broad experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Certification as AWS Solution Architect Associate & Professional or equivalent in other clouds, or relevant knowledge.
  • Very good mentoring and technical leadership skills.
  • Good English skills.
  • Understanding of DevOps and SRE principles and challenges, experience in these areas is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with line-of-business application/system monitoring configuration using open-source monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Jaeger, Grafana), commercial one (Dynatrace, Data Dog, New Relic, etc.), or native platform tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP).
  • Passion for delivering cloud observability solutions.
  • Knowledge of Java, Python, and Bash sufficient to do code reviews and ensure both cloud well-architected integration, as well as compliance with coding best practices.

Compensation and Rewards

  • We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
  • Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 80,000 gross per year based on full-time employment (38.5 h/week). We offer a higher salary in line with qualification and experience.
