Discover your exciting role

In the capacity of a Scheduler / Project Planner (m/f/d), you will be pivotal in strategic planning within the organization, ensuring that comprehensive planning support is available for all projects and the management team.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Lead the initial tender planning for all projects during the tender and pre-construction phases, ensuring that the tender program is both realistic and achievable while coordinating with estimating functions.
  • Develop tender programs and method statements that clearly outline the sequence, methodology, and timelines associated with each project.
  • When assigned to a specific project, initiate and regularly maintain a detailed construction program alongside a design and package procurement program to meet project requirements.
  • Gather data and update programs to reflect progress or delays accurately.
  • Provide weekly and/or monthly progress reports to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to current planning procedures or adapt them to suit specific client or project needs.
  • Stay informed about the latest planning methods and introduce beneficial practices to Exyte.

Show your expertise

  • A Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline or Construction Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) industry, collaborating with engineering, procurement, and contractors.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Basic understanding of Project Controls Functions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of established scheduling techniques and practices.
  • Proficient in using Primavera P6.
  • Familiarity with CPM (Critical Path Method) concepts and calculations.
  • Experience in earned value management, with the capability to audit and validate both engineering and construction progress.
  • Experience in integrating schedule and BIM models is preferred.
