About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team in Austria, providing top-notch support to customers on Canon semiconductor equipment. You'll also collaborate with other sites in Germany, leveraging your expertise to drive success.

  • Install and configure semiconductor equipment on-site, adhering to industry guidelines
  • Ensure machine parameters meet specifications before customer acceptance
  • Provide exceptional service support to customers, following our service guidelines and best practices
  • Offer general telephone assistance to customer queries
  • Deliver training to staff and customers
  • Maintain and enhance technical expertise for yourself and colleagues, staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements

What We're Looking For

We need individuals who can achieve exceptional results through collaboration, take calculated risks, and understand our customers' perspectives. To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Engineering or science qualification or equivalent experience in a service environment within the electronics industry
  • Working knowledge of optical, electronic, and/or mechanical principles
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools software (e.g., Unix, Microsoft)
  • A passion for high-end technology
  • Fluent German and English speaker (communication skills – both written and verbal)
  • Comfortable with travel
