Service Engineer

At Canon, we're looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join our team. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service support to our customers in Austria and other sites in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure semiconductor equipment on site, adhering to relevant guidelines and specifications.
  • Ensure that equipment parameters meet customer acceptance criteria.
  • Provide timely and effective service support to customers, following established service guidelines and best practices.
  • Offer general telephone assistance to customers, addressing their queries and concerns.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff and customers, enhancing their technical knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain and improve technical expertise, staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements.
Requirements:
  • Engineering or science qualification, or equivalent experience in a service environment within the electronics industry.
  • Working knowledge of optical, electronic, and/or mechanical principles.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools software, such as Unix and Microsoft.
  • Attraction to high-end technology.
  • Fluent German and English speaker, with excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable with travel and flexible work arrangements.
