Job Description:
As a Trapped-Ion Development Engineer, you will be part of a passionate international team dedicated to making quantum computing a reality. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Driving the development of cutting-edge ion trap chips
- Advancing the integration of these chips into quantum processing units (QPUs)
- Collaborating with top-tier customers and academic partners to co-develop the next generations of QPUs
- Enabling research projects with academic partners
- Supervising master and PhD students

Your Tasks:
- Develop and implement new technologies for trapped-ion quantum processors, focusing on photonic interfaces
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate ion trap chips into QPUs
- Collaborate with commercial partners to co-develop the next generations of QPUs
- Engage with academic partners to develop research projects
- Mentor master and PhD students

Qualifications:
- PhD in physics, quantum engineering, photonics, computational physics, or similar field
- 3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, quantum optics, and/or trapped-ion quantum computing
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
