Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Data & Reporting Governance Expert to join our international team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of data quality, process governance, and analytics solutions.

About the Role

In this critical position, you will share our reporting vision, collaborate with the Development & IT Team, and work diligently to maintain data quality at its peak. Key responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring high data quality through comprehensive validations to secure data consistency, integrity, completeness, accuracy & timeliness, especially for Operations & Finance interdependencies during Month-End-Closing.
  • Developing processes through audit & activation of new developments as well as rollouts (sign-off & deployment).
  • Managing & coordinating Operations Reporting solution/process related enhancements together with our IT counterparts.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A solid finance background and good understanding of finance processes.
  • Technical experience with ERP/EPM/BW systems or corresponding reporting/analysis solutions (e.g. SAP BEx Web, Crystal Reports, BO Analysis and Analytics Cloud, Tableau).
  • Programming skills (e.g. VBA, R, Python) are perceived as an asset.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organisational and analytical skills, and the capability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand complex system correlations, quickly identify and analyse solution delivery risks & impacts as well as to define alternatives & prioritizations.
  • Excellent command of English, working knowledge of German is a plus but not a requirement.
