About This OpportunityWe're seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Strategic Data Governance Lead. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping the future of data management and governance within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a comprehensive data strategy for BMW Central and Southeastern Europe, establishing a center of excellence for data analysis and business intelligence to optimize reporting, information, and data usage.
- Ensure data and KPI consistency across the company, aligned with central requirements and BMW Financial Services needs.
- Maintain high-quality data and consistency across reporting and local systems.
- Standardize reports, streamline data sources, and optimize reporting processes.
- Coordinate data stewards in various business departments.
- Serve as the primary contact for all data-related matters in the Region Central and Southeastern Europe for internal and central departments.
- Implement a process for managing business-related local IT applications.
- Contribute to designing and developing technical solutions, identifying new data sources to enhance strategic decision-making.
- University degree in finance or data management, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in finance, risk, data analytics, or business intelligence.
- Strong skills in IT, analytics, strategy, presentations, and communication.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools used in complex environments and ability to combine this with insights into data/system concepts and business patterns.
- Ideal experience with data warehousing and analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, and QLIK.
- Excellent networking abilities and capacity to establish contacts.
- Strong negotiation skills and persuasive abilities.
- Fluency in English.

We offer an attractive salary package, with a minimum gross monthly salary of €3,800. The actual salary will be determined based on your qualifications and professional experience. A significant overpayment is possible depending on your suitability.
