About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Process Engineer to join our team. As an Industrial Process Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and continuously improving robust production processes and tools to ensure high yield and efficient output.

  • You will specify required tools (SOW) and related tooling, perform supplier evaluations, and ensure alignment with plant requirements.
  • You will define and select suitable process tools and tooling, including CAPEX verification, to support robust machine usage.
  • You will enable equipment installation, qualification, process setup, and training for shift engineering, maintenance technicians, and operators.
  • You will apply process control and documentation standards (PI, Checklists, ORPs, CPs) and ensure up-to-date process change management.
  • You will drive supplier development, screen potential new suppliers, and implement continuous process/machine improvements to meet efficiency and cost targets.
  • You will support new product ramp-ups, transition into high-volume manufacturing, and lead task forces or working groups for effective troubleshooting and prevention.
About You
  • You have a completed technical education (e.g., Material Science, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, etc.) with at least 2 years of process engineering experience in IC-Substrate, Assembly, IC-Packaging, or a related industry.
  • You possess strong expertise in Six Sigma tools and proficiency in project management, data analytics, and design of experiments (DoE).
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English, with German language skills as an advantage.
  • You are willing to work in a cleanroom environment.
  • You have experience working with intercultural teams.
  • You are proficient in leveraging state-of-the-art IT tools such as MS Office Suite, JMP, Minitab, and SAP to support technical and analytical tasks.
