Job Description

We are seeking an Embedded Software Developer to join our team on an exciting journey. As an Embedded Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded software for a wireless intercom system.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain embedded software for a wireless intercom system
  • Plan, design, implement, and test components for the embedded software and the Linux operating system
  • Demonstrate ownership of dedicated areas of the system's software architecture
  • Participate in sprint planning and cross-functional company initiatives that foster collaboration
  • Participate in code reviews and make technical contributions to product architecture as well as getting involved in solving bugs and delivering small features
  • Participate and implement process improvements
  • Improve product quality, security, and performance
  • Engage with business and technology requirements in design & development

Requirements

  • University degree or similar technical education in a technical discipline preferably in computer engineering and/or electronics
  • Experience in embedded software development
  • Very good knowledge of C++ including STL and objected-oriented software design
  • Experiences in test-driven development (TDD) is an advantage
  • Experiences with Linux and tools such as git, Jira, Confluence
  • Experience in agile software development methodology
  • Good knowledge about standard Internet protocols is a plus
  • The candidate is expected to be self-driven, with strong problem-solving skills, and is committed to developing high-quality software
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is a plus
