About the Thesis Project:

We are seeking a highly motivated master's student to work on a thesis project focused on optimizing battery testing for electric vehicles using machine learning techniques. The project aims to develop and implement a machine learning-based approach to improve the efficiency and accuracy of battery testing in a lab environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and adapt data models for battery testing to improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Design and implement a simple test environment to simulate battery test lab conditions
  • Research and analyze state-of-the-art machine learning techniques applicable to plant management
  • Select and implement suitable machine learning approaches for tasks in the battery testing facility, including allocating test equipment
  • Design and develop an agent prototype that interacts with the environment
  • Design and create dashboard prototypes to effectively communicate necessary changes in resource allocation

About You:

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in computer science, telematics, or physics, and excellent programming skills in Python. C# skills are also appreciated. Additionally, knowledge of machine learning algorithms, reinforcement learning, and data structures is essential. Good knowledge of German and English is required, and occasional presence at our headquarters in Graz is necessary.
