About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Procurement Specialist for Logistics to join our team at Porsche Konstruktionen GmbH & Co KG in Salzburg. As a key member of our international procurement team, you will be responsible for strategic procurement of logistics services for up to 29 countries worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic procurement of logistics services for up to 29 countries worldwide
  • End-to-end strategic procurement, including data analysis, tendering, negotiation, contract closure, and supplier management
  • Proactive category management, particularly the development and implementation of strategies in procurement and their rollout to countries
  • Independent execution of central bundling projects and ongoing care and development of categories in an international team
  • Continuous development of the department's maturity level (state-of-the-art) and further digitalization of processes
  • Monitoring of the environment (suppliers, departments, customers) to derive economically sensible procurement activities (e.g., bundling, innovation, expansion of business fields)

Requirements

  • Commercial education (apprenticeship, HAK, studies, etc.) with several years of experience in a comparable activity
  • Skills in strategic procurement (potential finding, process optimization, market, cost, and price data analysis, strategic negotiation, contract management)
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (presentations, negotiations, reporting, confident/convincing appearance, negotiation skills, etc.)
  • Team player, willingness to engage, innovative spirit, analytical working style, social competence
  • Engagement and independent, pragmatic working style
  • Organizational talent and experience in data and project management
  • Reliability and integrity
  • Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel, Word, PowerBI, PowerPoint)
  • SAP Ariba knowledge is an asset
