HEAD OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY m/f/d
- The Head of Quality Management and Sustainability will oversee our internal quality assurance and sustainability framework, ensuring compliance with relevant (EU) regulations, while also facilitating certification processes and supervising our regional offices.
- You will manage our external certifications related to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Sustainability.
- This role will be office/home office-based.
- Establish strategy, milestones, and actions for an effective Food Safety Management System and Risk Management within our organization, ensuring necessary resources are allocated.
- Lead the corporate Quality Management core team (coordinators).
- Determine the required certification levels for each country (ISO, HACCP, IFS, etc.).
- Develop an internal quality management handbook that outlines minimum quality standards.
- Design and conduct internal quality management audits, providing clear action plans for enhancements.
- Oversee external audits and local quality systems to promote best practices across countries.
- Create and maintain quality management reports featuring KPIs, supported by PowerBI and ERP/CRM systems.
- Formulate a new Sustainability Concept within our organization to meet all (EU) legal requirements and prepare the enterprise for internationally recognized sustainability certification (such as EcoVadis).
- Manage group certifications for product-related certificates, including RSPO, Rainforest Alliance, organic certifications, etc.
- Provide support for other group-wide certifications concerning QMS and Sustainability (IFS Broker, EcoVadis).
- Organize ongoing training sessions for quality management personnel within the corporate structure.
- Note: Operational quality management tasks will remain the responsibility of local quality managers.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports directly to the COO as the Head of Corporate Quality Management.
Qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent (preferably in food engineering).
- A minimum of 5 years of practical experience managing a certified Quality Management System (QMS), with at least 3 years in a leadership role for GFSI level certification (IFS Food or similar).
- Certification as an internal auditor for a QMS standard (minimum ISO9001), preferably with GFSI level certification.
- Leadership and team skills: at least 3 years of experience leading a team of 3 or more, or successful participation in a minimum of 3 full-day leadership seminars.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken (B2 level or higher).
- Willingness to travel internationally for a minimum of 3 days per month (approximately 15%).
