Position: Technical Sales Manager - Environmental Technologies (m/f/d)

Location: Linz

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and acquire new business opportunities, manage tender processes, and prepare technical proposals for Environmental Technologies projects.
  • Formulate and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and bid presentations for Environmental Technologies solutions.
  • Lead technical contract negotiations and prepare cost estimations.
  • Collaborate with various departments within VACE Engineering GmbH and regional companies involved in the global sales process.
  • Oversee bid projects, coordinating with different segments and regions.
  • Engage in close cooperation with technology and specialist departments at VACE Engineering GmbH.
  • Support project execution teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze customer tender documents and develop technical solutions in collaboration with other departments.
  • Prepare technical contract documentation in conjunction with relevant teams.
  • Conduct cost calculations and present technical solutions to clients.
  • Negotiate technical contract terms with customers and assist in commercial negotiations.
  • Facilitate project handover to execution teams and provide ongoing support, including feedback to technical sales.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the acquisition and/or project planning of plants and/or plant components.
  • A higher technical institute or university degree (e.g., HTL, technical university) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in global teams.
  • Proficient in English with advanced communication skills.
  • Strong command of MS Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel for business (approximately 30%).
