Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our technical leadership, you will be responsible for leading a group of engineers developing full-stack solutions in multiple technologies, including backend, web, and mobile apps, across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with interdisciplinary and international teams to develop requirements and implement innovative solutions.
  • Technical Governance: Govern the development team(s) and ensure code quality through code reviews and test automation.
  • System Optimization: Optimize existing systems and applications for performance and scalability.
  • Technical Development: Support the technical development and maintenance of several products, including client and server applications using C#, SpringBoot, and ColdFusion.
  • Database Management: Design, implementation, and management of relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Cloud Services: Knowledge of AWS cloud services for application deployment and management.

Requirements

  • Education: Completed studies in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience: Several years of professional experience in software development and in-depth knowledge in one of the core backend stacks: C# or Java. Polyglot preferred.
  • Leadership: Experience leading other developers and upscaling them in best practices.
  • Curiosity: Curious learner, with the ability to navigate and learn multiple stacks and technologies.
  • Cloud Experience: Experience designing software running on the cloud, including performance, security, and networking.
  • Project Management: Project-management / scrum skills a plus.
  • Cloud Services: Knowledge in the use of a major cloud services (ideally AWS) for running containerized services.
  • Communication: Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking, reflective personality with team spirit and strong communication skills.
  • Work Style: Proactive, structured, and results-oriented working style.
  • Language: Good English skills, both written and spoken. German is a plus.
