Job Description

We are seeking a talented HR Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing traditional HR functions, facilitating the recruitment process, and developing programs that promote employee engagement and retention.

In this critical role, you will serve as a bridge for our diverse workforce, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across language barriers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating the recruitment process, including job postings and conducting interviews, ensuring effective communication in both English and German.
  • Conducting employee orientation and onboarding in both languages, preparing new hires for success at AUTOJOB.
  • Developing and facilitating training and development programs that cater to English and German-speaking employees.
  • Overseeing employee benefits administration and addressing related inquiries in both languages.
  • Handling employee relations matters, mediating conflicts and ensuring employee satisfaction through effective communication.
  • Supporting performance management processes and providing guidance to managers in both linguistic contexts.
  • Assisting in the development of HR policies and procedures that accommodate our multilingual workforce.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Specialist or in a similar role, preferably within a multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in both English and German (spoken and written) is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of HR functions, labor laws, and best practices in both language contexts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and relate to employees across diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR analytics is advantageous.
  • Organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
