Job Overview:
A dynamic and innovative company, Philip Morris Austria GmbH, is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst Intern to join our team in Vienna. As a key member of the Business Planning team, you will play a crucial role in supporting financial analysis, data interpretation, and business reporting.

About the Role:
This exciting opportunity allows you to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, data interpretation, and business reporting while working on high-impact projects that drive strategic decisions. You will have the chance to work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to the development of critical presentations that effectively communicate financial results and insights.

Your Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
- Assist in creating financial models and tools to support ongoing analysis
- Help prepare financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership
- Support the development of critical PowerPoint presentations to communicate financial results, forecasts, and insights effectively
- Collaborate with team members on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Assist in researching industry trends, competitor data, and best practices to enhance decision-making
- Support day-to-day finance tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, or ad-hoc projects

Your Profile:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for numbers. If you are eager to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and business reporting, this is an ideal opportunity for you.

Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a passion for numbers and problem-solving
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- High attention to detail, with strong organizational and time-management abilities
- A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and adaptability to fast-paced environments
