Job Title: Senior Contract Specialist

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Project Execution Department, you will be responsible for providing proactive advice on commercial and contractual issues during the construction phase of new wind farms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on commercial and contractual issues to ensure projects meet safety, quality, time, and budget standards.
  • Offer direct contract management support to the Project Director, Project Manager, and other team members.
  • Oversee the commercial and contractual aspects of wind farm construction projects.
  • Review and advise on obligations under Turbine Supply Agreements.
  • Facilitate project risk management and maintain the project risk register.
  • Evaluate potential claim scenarios and manage claims-related activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in law, economics, industrial and civil construction, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in contracts or project management within the construction industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of contract types and structures in the construction and energy sectors.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • German language skills are advantageous.
