About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract and Claim Manager to join our team at Siemens Mobility Austria GmbH. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for providing professional and proactive support in the handling of customer, consortium, supplier, and other sub-contracts, securing contractual rights and entitlements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out contract reviews with the project teams
  • Creating a comprehensive claim strategy for the project
  • Setting up and providing legal support for the claim and change order process in execution projects
  • Legal assessment of operational risks, in particular with regard to internal approval processes and identification of risk minimization measures
  • Supporting the project teams in the enforcement of or defense against claims
  • Management of continuous, timely documentation of claims-related events and change orders
  • Supporting the Legal Counsel in preparing arguments and providing evidence in contentious and non-contentious proceedings

Requirements

  • Successfully completed university degree in law or economics/technical university degree with basic legal training
  • Solid knowledge of contract and claims law (national/international)
  • Ideally 5-7 years of experience in contract & claim management, legal area or in contractual project management in comparable companies
  • Knowledge and practical experience in project management is an advantage
  • Experience in international project business is an advantage
  • Experience with AI-supported contract management tools would be a plus
  • Very good communication skills and assertiveness
  • Business fluent in German and English

What We Offer

We offer an attractive compensation package that aligns with your qualifications and professional experience. The gross annual salary according to collective agreement for this position is at least EUR 72,800,-. Depending on education and experience, overpayment is possible.
