Responsibilities
Your contributions at Dynatrace
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing solutions for performance and availability monitoring tailored for Ruby applications
- Engaging primarily with Ruby and C++ (for native extensions)
- Analyzing and comprehending the internal mechanisms of popular Ruby gems
- Exploring beyond standard frameworks and gems with an in-depth understanding of Ruby
- Independently designing and implementing new features while taking ownership of those features
- Collaborating intensively with both local and international development teams
Qualifications
What will contribute to your success
Technical Skills
- Several years of experience as a Software Engineer, particularly with Ruby and C++
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry is advantageous
- Understanding of various Ruby interpreters such as CRuby and JRuby is beneficial
- Knowledge of Ruby native extensions and FFI is a plus
- Experience in publishing Ruby Gems is advantageous
- Ability to focus on intricate details while maintaining a holistic view of the ecosystem

Compensation and Rewards

- Due to legal requirements, we must disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is €56,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
