Key Responsibilities- Identify Application Trends: Analyze customer discussions and internal system expert feedback to identify future requirements and application trends.
- Drive Innovative Product Ideas: Assess and influence product roadmaps by evaluating different innovative product ideas.
- Product Development: Participate in product development projects for discrete products targeting on-board charger applications.
- Product Requirements: Define product requirements, derive target datasheets, and serve as the internal technical interface to product development teams and customers.
- Performance Benchmarking: Develop and coordinate projects in performance benchmarking of product performance in applications.
- Design-in to Design-win: Drive activities from design-in to design-win at lead automotive customers developing charger applications used in electric vehicles.
- Technical Discussions: Conduct intensive technical discussions with customers, coordinate requirements, and support successful product validation in system design.
- Uncertainty Management: Manage uncertainties in early development phases and contribute to driving innovative solutions forward.
- Prototype Validation: Validate functional prototypes and simulation models of our products.
- Collaboration: Closely collaborate with regional field application engineering teams.
- Technical Leadership: Technically lead and support team members.
- Education: Degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, physics, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in power electronics (automotive, industrial, consumer) in the semiconductor industry or at a research institute.
- Skills: Experience in setting up and running tests for power components, competence on power technologies such as SiC MOSFETs or IGBTs, and know-how in creating collaterals such as technical articles and presentations.
- Personal Qualities: Embrace innovative thinking, be open-minded, and have practical experience working as a project team member.
- Language Skills: Very good communication and presentation skills in English, German as a plus.
