Job Title: General Ledger Accountant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our accounting team in our HQ. As a General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for liaising with diverse stakeholders to ensure our group of companies' accounting information practices are accurately reflected. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and verifying financial data, general ledger entries, and financial statement reconciliations.
  • Supporting the accounting department in the HQ with monthly and annual closing processes, journal entries, and general finance duties.
  • Preparing independent monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for several Austrian companies.
  • Preparing appendices and publication documents for the respective individual financial statements.
  • Preparing comprehensive group reporting in the form of quarterly reporting packages.
About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced General Ledger Accountant who possesses:

  • A strong sense of responsibility and assertive, charismatic personality.
  • Professional communication skills in German and English.
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented way of working.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and ideally experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
