Job Title: General Ledger Accountant

Join our team at DO & CO - Aktiengesellschaft as a General Ledger Accountant and take on a challenging role in our finance department. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and verify financial data, general ledger entries, and financial statement reconciliations.
  • Support the accounting department in the preparation of monthly and annual closing processes, journal entries, and general finance duties.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive group reporting packages, including quarterly reporting packages.
  • Participate in various national and international projects, driving process optimization and improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Accountant examination desirable.
  • Several years of professional experience in financial accounting.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, assertive, and charismatic personality.
  • Professional communication skills in German and English.
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented work style.
  • Enjoy team and project work.
  • Hands-on mentality and persistence.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and ideally experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
