Project Manager for Ground Segment Systems Upgrade

Eumetsat is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the upgrade of its Ground Segment Systems, including Multi-Mission Elements. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the upgrade projects from architectural design to handover to the customer, ensuring close schedule, cost, and resource control.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the upgrade projects of the Ground Segment Systems, including Multi-Mission Elements, from the architectural design phase until the handover to customer.
- Manage interactions with Programmes in development, Operations department, and engineering teams of TSS in charge of facilities/services maintenance and evolution.
- Contribute to the generation and maintenance of the Ground Segment Systems services catalogue and related Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Generate and maintain Development & Management Plans and Projects Plans.
- Contribute to the implementation of Change Control and baseline management processes with the Programmes and with Operations.
- Support and/or monitor external procurements and contracts as required.
- University degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Sciences, System Engineering).
- Proven experience in Project Management, preferably in the fields of developing satellite ground segment generic IT infrastructure and multi-mission elements, within a multiple project environment.
- Practical experience with system engineering methodologies.
- Experience in system engineering lifecycle aspects (e.g. design, production, integration, verification and validation), preferably for Satellite Ground Segments.
- Strengths in analysis, synthesis, and presentation, coupled with good interpersonal skills and a proven ability to apply these to the interactions within a team and between teams.
- Excellent salary, of up to Euro 7,500 NET (after income tax) based on skills and experience.
