About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our Advanced Analytics & AI team at RBI group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in data science to develop innovative banking solutions, utilizing cutting-edge technology and machine learning techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute a diverse array of use cases across all business lines, validating hypotheses and contributing innovative ideas.
  • Act as the vital link between business experts, IT, and Advanced Analytics & AI, integrating traditional machine learning and generative AI methods into broader business strategies and technical solutions.
  • Teach and train junior colleagues in data science, focusing on both classic machine learning techniques and the application of generative AI.
  • Create, maintain, and teach introductory courses for both classic machine learning techniques and the application of generative AI.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art cloud infrastructure, ensuring the effective application of both traditional machine learning and generative AI models.
  • Translate data analysis findings and research results into actionable steps, highlighting the implications and benefits of both traditional machine learning and generative AI.
  • Use your excellent communication skills to advocate for the adoption and benefits of both generative AI and classic machine learning to your students.
  • Creatively visualize and report data findings, emphasizing the unique insights provided by both classic machine learning and generative AI, in a variety of visual formats.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Data Science within a large corporation, ideally in the financial services sector.
  • Deep knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques, including proficiency in generative AI.
  • Experience as a trainer of both classic machine learning techniques and the application of generative AI.
  • Excellent scripting skills, preferably in Python, and familiarity with popular machine learning libraries.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful data products, services, or insights, demonstrating understanding of complex data flows and business processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about delivering high-quality analytical products in a dynamic environment.
  • Hands-on mentality and enjoyment of exploring new ideas and techniques.
  • Team player, able to work collaboratively with people at all levels.
  • Effective communication of complex ideas and maintenance of a positive attitude, even when facing criticism.
