At Infineon Technologies AG, we're at the forefront of innovation in quantum computing. As a Trapped-Ion Development Engineer, you'll be part of our international team dedicated to transforming prototypes into scalable, reliable systems.

About the Role

You'll lead the industrialization of trapped-ion quantum processors, driving technology development for photonic interfaces and co-developing next-generation Quantum Processing Units (QPUs) with commercial partners. Your expertise will also enable research collaborations with academic institutions and supervise master's and Ph.D. students.

About You

We're looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for new technologies and a proactive approach to teamwork. A Ph.D. in physics, quantum engineering, photonics, or computational physics is essential, along with 3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, quantum optics, and/or trapped-ion quantum computing.
