Salary: The annual gross salary for this position starts at €64,000 and can be higher based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description: Domain Architect

We are seeking a skilled Domain Architect to shape our IT landscape and drive transformation. As an IT landscape planner, you will develop a holistic vision for our IT system landscape aligned with our business strategy. Your primary focus will be on one of the following domains:

  • Store Solutions and eCommerce
  • Logistics
  • Category Management, Purchasing and Billing
  • Sales, Marketing, CRM
  • Corporate Functions (e.g. Finance and Accounting, HR)

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing architectural target images and transformation paths to drive IT landscape transformation
  • Defining and planning domain-specific architecture to balance redundancy avoidance and autonomy/dependence avoidance
  • Promoting innovation and advising on technology adoption in line with business objectives

You will work closely with relevant teams to ensure efficient IT work across domains. Additionally, you will advise and support solution architects and teams on architectural aspects.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in business informatics or a comparable field
  • Many years of experience in the IT industry, particularly in dealing with large application landscapes
  • Experience in architecture management and proven understanding of professional IT architecture design
  • Strong knowledge of modern domain-specific systems, business architectures, and related methodologies

You should also possess excellent communication skills to present complex findings in a clear and convincing manner.
